Call for Papers/Presentations

Papers about Gesture Interaction are being invited for a half-day workshop which will take place during the Automotive UI 2014 conference. The conference is scheduled from September 17 to September 19, 2014, in Seattle, WA, USA. The intention of this Gesture Interaction workshop is to broadcast the human factors research needs in gesture interaction and to encourage more researchers and industrial experts to begin working in this field.

We are looking for 2 to 4 industrial experts, designers, students and/or researchers to join us in offering presentations during the workshop. We invite you to send us papers or presentations about your efforts in gesture interaction by August 01, 2014. All paper (or presentation) submissions will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. You will be notified about whether your paper/presentation is accepted by August 13, 2014.

For paper submissions, please follow conference-recommended ACM SIGCHI format. The accepted paper submission will be published in the AutomotiveUI’14 adjunct proceeding (Please download the template: http://www.sigchi.org/publications/chipubform/sigchi-extended-abstracts-word-template/view)
